In which our protagonist wakes up, realises it's been five months of silence and she should really pull her finger out...
I highly recommend Somatic Experiencing. traumahealing.org There are specially trained practitioners all over the world. You can pick one and do a zoom call if there is not one in person near you. The only thing that works, in my opinion, gets to the cause. Been there. Hugs and love. Thanks for being vulnerable and brave/
Late to commenting... by all means KEEP writing!! You are 100% a champion to take all the steps you need to to care for your mental health, and talking about it means other people will see what you are doing and feel brave enough to do the same. ;-) xx
You are a rockstar, Ms. Lauren and don't you forget it -- a little tough love from Montana! Hugs and welcome back. We missed your brave, quirky and witty writing.
Sorry to hear you were struggling and so happy to hear you are back and feeling better. So much of what you wrote resonated with me. Thank you for sharing and being so honest. You are not alone xx
Welcome back, lovely to hear from you again. Sending you big hugs and lots of love 😘💜
Welcome back Lauren. You are a brave writer and I appreciate your honesty. https://kittydingle.wordpress.com/2022/01/20/self-care/
Sorry to hear you've been in the black hole. It's a soul-destroying place, that's for sure. It's wonderful that you're back and that you found a good therapist!
Thank you for writing this Lauren! Yes, I had missed your perky voice, although we have been in touch in other ways. You are not alone in feeling like this - therapy helped me A LOT! We can talk about it if/when you feel up to it. Lots of hugs in the meantime XXXX
Welcome back. Be kind to yourself. See how it all goes
Welcome back to this inbox!
"I have things to offer that no one else has, that I am unique and that is a good thing, not a point of ridicule." YES, love you so!
Welcome back, friend. Thank you as always for the gentle reminders and for sharing yourself with us. I feel so honoured.
