This is maybe my favourite post so far. I love how you write. I was hoping people would reflect and move to a different kind of normal – one that was better for our health and that of the planet. It saddens me.

So excited about Mindful in May! Having not lived through the massive Lockdown you have, I’m a little jealous of your opportunity to re-start and emerge with purpose and a plan. Busyness is the devil and I suffer from it so badly - thankful for Mindful in May and the opportunity to find some peace again.

I'm with you Julia Graham - I love how you write, Lauren, and I was hoping for a new quieter normal - but no. Apparently not.

I, too, was mystified as to what might be worth queuing for in Primark or TK Max. I mean, there was never anything in there before lockdown... and I'm not rushing to the pub, either, to sit in someone else's garden, shivering, for the privilege of consuming an over-priced drink that I didn't actually want in the first place.

No, I think a Mindful May sounds perfect. Happy re-emerging my butterfly. x

I loved this post (as all the previous ones), Lauren. Lots of inspiring ideas, but above all, slow down and tune into yourself. As for the re-emergence into the world, the Greek myth of Persephone is especially resonant. To explore further, perhaps? Thank you for writing!
